Henry Sandham (1842-1910), a Canadian born artist, famously created "Stalking the Wapiti", all the way back in 1890. The original piece is housed at the Smithsonian, but is no longer on display. Thankfully, we are bringing this piece back for todays outdoorsmen to enjoy as they drink their favorite Dripfish Coffee blend.

Out favorite part about this piece is the hunter coming up the ridgeline, assumingly downwind, of the four elk. Even back in the day, hunters gassed themselves running up and down mountains trying to put some food on the table. If you are an elk hunter, or know somebody who is, this piece speaks to the elk hunter's soul.
