Cold mornings, hiking, camping, deer camp, falling leaves and a fire going after dark on the weekends. That’s Apple Pie Moonshine time.
This one is simple: apple cider, cinnamon, brown sugar and enough Everclear to remind you that something tasting like apple pie can still pack a serious punch. Don't say we didn't warn you! Apple Pie moonshine is legit.
Ingredients

1 gallon apple cider

1 gallon apple juice

2 cups brown sugar

1 cup granulated sugar

6–8 cinnamon sticks

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 bottle (750 mL) Everclear

Whole cloves, optional
Make It
Combine the cider, apple juice, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in a large stockpot.
Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool completely.
Once completely cool, stir in the vanilla and Everclear.
Never add Everclear to a hot mixture or around an open flame. Everclear is highly flammable.
Pour into clean Mason jars or glass bottles and refrigerate. Give it at least 24–48 hours before drinking, although a week or two gives the cinnamon and apple flavors more time to come together.
Serve cold, at room temperature, or add a small splash to a hot cup of Dripfish Coffee after the hunting, fishing, driving and other questionable decision-making opportunities are finished for the day.
