Let's get ready for colder weather!

Bourbon-infused coffee is a delightful treat for those who enjoy a touch of sophistication in their morning brew. This recipe combines the rich, smoky flavors of bourbon with the bold taste of coffee to create a warm and comforting beverage. Please note that this recipe is for adults of legal drinking age, and the alcohol content will not be entirely cooked off, so enjoy it responsibly.

Campfire Whiskey

For this recipe, we are using our very own Campfire Whiskey blend of coffee that is aged for 30 days in a whiskey barrel before roasting.

Lakeside Latte

Ingredients:

1 cup of freshly brewed strong coffee (Campfire Whiskey)
1 oz (2 tablespoons) of your favorite bourbon
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of heavy cream or half-and-half
A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
Whipped cream for garnish (optional)
Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish (optional)

      Instructions:

Start by brewing a cup of Campfire Whiskey coffee found here. You can use a French press, pour-over, or your favorite brewing method. Ensure the coffee is hot and freshly made

While the coffee is brewing, warm your bourbon. In a small saucepan over low heat, pour the bourbon and gently warm it for a few minutes. Do not let it boil, just heat it enough to evaporate some of the alcohol and enhance the flavors.

Add the brown sugar to your coffee and stir until it's fully dissolved. This will add a delightful sweetness that complements the bourbon's smoky notes.

Once the coffee and sugar are well combined, pour in the warmed bourbon. Stir to mix the bourbon with the coffee and sugar thoroughly.

To add richness and creaminess to your bourbon coffee, pour in the heavy cream or half-and-half. Stir until it's well incorporated.

If you'd like to add a hint of spice, sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon into your coffee and stir.

Finally, if you prefer a bit of indulgence, top your bourbon coffee with whipped cream and a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg.

Enjoy your Bourbon Coffee while it's still warm. Sip slowly, savoring the unique combination of bourbon and coffee flavors.

Remember to drink responsibly and be mindful of the alcohol content in this drink. You can adjust the amount of bourbon to suit your taste, whether you want a milder or stronger bourbon presence in your coffee, is all up to you!
